I've been working in stealth mode recently (unless you follow me on Instagram, of course), but my newest book is done and almost ready to be released!
My last few books have been nonfiction books, but Acorn Party is a counting story set in the Pacific Northwest. It's been an amazing project to work on —and it's been fun also to look outside to see some of the animals from this story as they scurry across my yard.

In other news—I've been looking back over my older blog posts. It's been far too long since I posted last, and it's time to shaking things up and share more updates! keep an eye out for more picture book recommendations and about nature resources this fall.
