Book Review: My First Animal Activity Book

We love animals around here, so I’m excited to introduce you to My First Animal Activity Book, a pre-K workbook with a ton of fun, engaging animal activity pages!

Looking for a wild animal-filled adventure of thinking, coloring, laughing, and learning?

Kids will have a blast gobbling with turkeys, swimming with sea horses, and buzzing with bees―all while practicing spatial thinking, honing hand-eye coordination, sharpening memorization skills, and growing creativity.

My First Animal Activity Book has over 70 activities for children ages 3-5. The activities help children:
  • Strengthen fine motor skills,
  • Practice visual-spatial skills and problem-solving,
  • Count and identify numbers,
  • Write and identify letters of the alphabet,
  • Learn about the world’s amazing animals.

This is a super cool book!

It’s similar to the standard pre-K workbooks, with a variety of coloring pages, mazes, dot-to-dots, matching games, and handwriting exercises—but it’s entirely focused on animals!

I really like how simple the activities are. Preschoolers will need someone to read them the directions, but should be able to complete most of the pages on their own with minimal help. Plus, the animals look positively adorable.

If you have a preschooler who goes bananas over workbooks and practice sheets, I’d recommend checking this one out!

It’s currently available for pre-order, and will be released on May 19th.

You can find My First Animal Activity Book on Amazon, or from other major booksellers.

Need a sneak-peak first? You can download several sample pages here. Plus, find activities from the author, Krissy Bonning-Gould, on her blog, B-Inspired Mama!

(I received a digital version of this book from the author in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.)
